Thank you for visiting our space here online! As creators of images and lovers of marriage, we get excited about documenting the stories of awesome people in love. We are digital and film photographers based out of Gainesville, Florida but love to travel to be storytellers. Taking a candid approach to photography, we focus on photographing raw, organic moments to tell stories as the day naturally unfolds. We aim to capture love stories as well as build genuine relationships with our incredible couples. So, take a look around and feel free to reach out! We would love to share a cup of coffee with you. Our hope is that you’d allow us to photograph your day or moment and reflect the beauty of the story…

Carly + Zach | University of Florida Engagement

UF Engagement Session

I got to know Zach when he reached out to me to help him coordinate his proposal to Carly (featured on How He Asked HERE).  As I got to know them and their story, it became apparent that this man seriously loves this girl. One time he told me that “she’s my favorite topic to talk about.” YOU GUYS! Isn’t that so sweet? Zach started having feelings for Carly in high school. When I asked him when he fell in love, he said VERY confidently that it was in the waiting, as they were friends. “It was always Carly.”

He asked her out a few times, but that friend zone thing was REAL with them. He didn’t want to push his feelings on her, so instead he focused on their friendship. He knew that they were just at different places at the time and he wanted to respect that. Plus, he knew that he would rather have a friendship with Carly than nothing at all, even though in the back of his mind…he knew.

Their story reminds me a lot of my story with Wayne. I’m definitely a big fan of Zach. I know Wayne is too. I’m pretty sure I even saw Wayne give Zach a fist bump during their proposal. (To be honest, I think it was for also reigning victorious over the friend zone, like he did)

Back to their proposal story: Carly reached out to me requesting to schedule a graduation shoot for Zach to celebrate him completing law school. Unbeknownst to her, she was kind of planning her own proposal, because Zach saw this “graduation photo shoot” as an opportunity to propose. Zach invited both sets of families into town for some “family photos” and everything fell right into place for their proposal. Zach’s cue to get down on one knee was when I asked him what it has meant for him to have Carly by his side for all of this. He turned to her and said, “It’s meant everything. You mean everything. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here. You’ve been my rock through life and through law school. I rely on your friendship to get me through my hardest times because you actually make those moments that much better. You’ve strengthened me and motivated me to be better, to be like you. I don’t know life without you, because you’re my person.”

Amber + Eli | Gainesville Wedding Photographer

Amber & Eli! WHAT A JOY! These two were just such  pleasure to work for but also be around. From the bridesmaids having a dance party to start off the day to Eli’s silliness being the reason for Amber’s smiles. Also, I need to brag on the phenomenal team of vendors that worked so tirelessly and graciously TOGETHER. Everyone as one trying to serve the couple. Yes, yes, yes! (see below for this fantastic team).
My favorite detail, besides the donut bar, was the bouquets. 100% all day everyday. Give me all of the flowers. Personally, my favorite flowers, that I buy for my home, are from the downtown farmer’s market here in Gainesville. There’s a little booth from Lady Bug Blooms that sell stye most unique bunches! It was no surprise that I fell in LOVE with the bouquets at this wedding, because they were from the same place! I just wanted to cuddle all of the bouquets. Yes, I said cuddle. See for yourself how beautiful they actually are!
The moment I walked in to the bride’s getting ready suite, the girls were blasting old 90’s music and belting at the top of their lungs. It felt like I just walked into a girls sleepover. My type of girls! That’s how it was ALL MORNING. That chill feeling carried on throughout the day.

Fun fact! They had their favorite bartender in South Florida mix personalized drinks for them (enough for ALL of their guests). A hero of a friend traveled from South Florida to Gainesville, so that they could serve them at the wedding!
