This editorial was created to celebrate the simple beauty of the impending summer season. Cassandra, from Ever After Vintage Weddings, imagined a carefree bride surrounded by the bright garden style florals that are found in the summertime.
Summer in Florida is hard to beat. The weather is perfect (if you love the hot weather like me!) and the flowers are bright and abundant! This summer wedding inspiration took place in Cassandra’s studio. So thankful that my friend Emily, from The Ganeys, invited me to join her for this shoot. This shoot was originally supposed to take place outside in a field. They imagined a tablescape nestled under a large oak tree with the sunlight streaming through the Spanish moss. However, when an unexpected Florida afternoon thunderstorm arises, you go with plan B!
Cassandra designed the tablescape with beautiful gold-rimmed china and flatware on top of the floral patterned linen from Over The Top Inc. She styled the centerpiece with greenery, an assortment of garden roses and lots of greenery. The vines from the centerpieces even wove their way up the candlesticks (this was my very favorite detail). The invitation suite from Debbie Wong Designs was designed with watercolor flowers that tied into the bright summer florals that Cassandra used the inspiration. For dessert, Wandering Whisk Bakeshop made a brightly colored two-tiered cake with a few gold foil accents. I’m not much of a sweets person, but that cake was as delicious as it was beautiful!
